Arrival in Arusha Greetings in Tanzania! Upon your arrival, a representative from Sejova Safaris will greet you at the airport and escort you to your accommodation in Arusha. If time permits upon your arrival, you'll have the opportunity to unwind and get ready for the extraordinary adventure ahead! Arusha, bustling and essential to safari life in northern Tanzania, is a common stopover for travellers embarking on safari adventures. Overnight Mount Meru Hotel

After breakfast, your guide from Arem Safari will pick you up from your accommodation. This morning, we'll embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, with a transit drive of approximately two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. Named after the Tarangire River flowing through it, this park serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season, earning it the nickname 'river of warthogs'. Renowned for its elephant families often seen gathering near the river. Tarangire is also home to giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and various predators such as lions and leopards. With more breeding bird species than anywhere else on the planet, Tarangire offers remarkable avian diversity. The park also boasts ancient Baobab trees, some rumored to have lived for over a thousand years. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site within the park, followed by a thrilling game drive. Afterward, we'll make our way to your accommodation near the park. Overnight Lake Burunge Tented Lodge

Following breakfast, we'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse reserve. Everything here is on a unique scale; it's both compact, being one of Africa's narrowest parks, and grand, with the towering Great Rift Escarpment framing Lake Manyara's western boundary. The park's centerpiece is its shallow, salt lake, which fluctuates in size with the seasons, attracting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and an impressive array of over 500 bird species. Keep an eye out for baboons and elephants among the park's dense evergreen forest, and be on the lookout for the famous tree-climbing lions that have captured the attention of Africa enthusiasts. After a full day exploring the park, we'll take a short drive to your accommodation in Karatu. Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm Valley

Following breakfast, we'll ascend to the cooler realms of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering a chance to marvel at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater along the way. From there, we'll journey through the conservation area and enter the southern region of the Serengeti. The Serengeti is renowned for its expansive open grasslands, providing unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing. While it teems with diverse wildlife year-round, its crowning glory is the annual Great Migration. This natural spectacle sees vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes traversing the plains in search of fresh grazing. The migration occurs throughout the year; it's simply a matter of knowing where to look! Overnight at Kubu kubu Tented Lodge

The entirety of today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti through game drives. Renowned for its rich wildlife diversity including impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos, the Serengeti also offers ample opportunities to encounter predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards amidst its iconic landscapes. Depending on the whereabouts of the Great Migration, there's a possibility of venturing beyond the central region to witness this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. It's an experience that has the potential to profoundly impact your life. Overnight at Kubu kubu Tented Lodge

Following breakfast, we'll depart from Serengeti National Park and journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon your first glimpse of the crater, you'll be struck by its resemblance to a forgotten world. Nestled within the steep volcanic walls lies a pristine wilderness adorned with expansive savannahs, clusters of acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. Formed millions of years ago by a colossal volcanic eruption followed by collapse, the descent into the crater itself is an adventure. Once on the crater floor, you'll find yourself surrounded by a multitude of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 species of birds. The crater offers an exceptional opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino, which occasionally roams the open grasslands. Following a fulfilling afternoon exploring the crater, we'll head to Kitela for dinner and an overnight stay. Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm Valley
