Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through Tarangire. The park is famous for its impressive elephant herds, but you can also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many other wildlife species. In addition, Tarangire offers excellent birdwatching opportunities, with a remarkable variety of birdlife throughout the park.

As the afternoon progresses, continue exploring the park while enjoying its distinctive landscapes and ancient baobab trees. Later, as the sun begins to set, leave Tarangire and travel toward Karatu.

Finally, arrive at your overnight camp nestled in the peaceful natural surroundings of Karatu. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for another exciting day of safari adventures.

Journey to the Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your safari toward the Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery as you travel deeper into the heart of the Serengeti.

As you enter the park, the vast plains open before you. Soon, you will begin your game drive through this remarkable wilderness.

Wildlife and Game Drive

The Central Serengeti is famous for its abundant predators. Keep a close eye out for lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards as they move through the grasslands. With some luck, you may even witness predators hunting or resting in their natural surroundings.

Meanwhile, large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles roam the plains in search of fresh grazing. Therefore, keep your camera ready, as exciting wildlife encounters can happen at any moment.

Evening at Camp

Later in the afternoon, continue your game drive while enjoying the spectacular landscapes of the Serengeti. As the sun begins to set, make your way to your campsite for the evening.

Finally, settle into camp beneath the vast African sky. Enjoy dinner, relax around the camp, and listen to the sounds of the wilderness as night falls.

Overnight: Campsite in Central Serengeti

Embark on an exciting drive to the northern Serengeti, famous for the dramatic Mara River crossing during the Great Migration. Camp for two nights, providing opportunities to witness the intense wildlife spectacle and observe predators such as crocodiles and lions in action.

Dedicate the day to exploring the northern Serengeti, where the Mara River crossing unfolds. Witness the mesmerizing interactions between wildebeests, zebras, and crocodiles. The region is also a hotspot for bird enthusiasts, with vibrant species like vultures, eagles, and storks.

Returning to Central Serengeti

Say goodbye to the northern Serengeti as you begin your journey back toward the central region. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes and take advantage of opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Keep an eye out for hyenas, large buffalo herds, and serval cats as you travel through the plains. The Serengeti's diverse habitats support an impressive variety of species, so every game drive can bring a new and exciting encounter.

Birdwatching and Evening in the Wilderness

In addition to the abundant mammals, the Serengeti offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. Watch for magnificent ostriches, secretary birds, and other fascinating species throughout the journey.

Later, arrive in the Central Serengeti and settle into your campsite for another night in the wilderness. As evening falls, relax beneath the African sky and enjoy the sounds of nature surrounding your camp.

Journey to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views of Tanzania's northern highlands along the way. Upon arrival, settle into your campsite and prepare for an unforgettable exploration of one of Africa's most remarkable natural landscapes.

Explore the Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular natural caldera surrounded by steep walls. Its varied habitats, including grasslands, wetlands, forests, and a soda lake, support an impressive diversity of wildlife.

During your game drive, look out for resident rhinos, hippos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests. In addition, the crater's soda lake often attracts beautiful flocks of flamingos, creating a memorable sight against the surrounding landscape.

After your wildlife adventure, return to camp and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Early Morning Game Drive

Begin your final safari day with an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular wildlife destination in northern Tanzania. The crater floor supports a remarkable variety of wildlife, making it an excellent setting for your final game drive.

As you explore the crater, look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests. Moreover, the crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino in its natural habitat. Keep your camera ready, as every moment can bring a memorable wildlife encounter.

Scenic Drive Back to Arusha

After your morning game drive, enjoy the beautiful scenery before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Along the way, reflect on the highlights of your safari, from the vast Serengeti plains to the remarkable wildlife encounters.
