Godlove L. Mbise – Owner and Director

Godlove was born and raised in the small village of Meru in Tanzania, close to the majestic Mount Meru and 25 miles away from Mount Kilimanjaro. After earning a master's degree in education, he began teaching college courses until 2010, when his love of the untouched beauty of his home country's national parks inspired him to open his own business, “Sejova Safaris” and become a safari guide. Since then, he has gained an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in the tourism industry, from organizing safaris and mountain treks to having a deep understanding of the area's rich culture and history. As a full time tour guide Godlove’s adoration for his homeland truly shines as does his unyielding desire to create unforgettable experiences for all of his guests.

Edina Martine – Director

Edina has been Director at Sejova Safaris since its founding in 2014. Born and raised in Sekei village, at the foot of Mount Meru, she has a deep affinity for the Arusha and Kilimanjaro region. After graduating from the University of Dar Es Salaam with a degree in Public Administration and Human Resource Management, she joined Sejova Safaris as their Human Resource Manager. In addition, Edina has taken on additional duties with Sejova Safaris, including sale and marketing. She has been vital in expanding the company and bringing in new clients from all over the world. Her experience and enthusiasm for the local culture and landscape helps bring a unique experience and perspective to Sejova Safaris. She looks forward to taking Sejova Safaris to greater heights as the company continues expanding.

Clara Mosha – Sales & Markting Manager

A Sales and Marketing Director plays a pivotal role in steering the growth and success of our company by driving revenue, building brand visibility, and fostering lasting customer relationships. Our team for this dynamic position possesses a combination of strategic vision, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing dynamics. They go beyond selling experiences; they build relationships. With a client-centric approach, they ensure that each journey is not just a transaction but a personalized expedition that exceeds expectations

Mountain Climbing Team

Sejova Safaris is committed to developing the youth in Tanzania by making sure they have an opportunity to pursue their dreams. Through guidance and support, Sejova Safaris mentored and trained four tour guides: Dickson, Raymond, Lazaro, and Elias. Each tour guide overcame their tough personal circumstances and used the opportunity to build character and become leaders. Now each of these guides has a deep knowledge and appreciation for nature and a special interest in mountain climbing. Further, they are all passionate about sharing their experiences with others. With their help and example, the Tanzanian youth have equal access to pursue their dreams in the tourism industry.

As accomplished mountain guides, they have guided more than a hundred successful expeditions, comprising of people from all four corners of the world to the loftiest peak of the African continent. The Thrive for Good Organization, based in Canada, has brought along one of the largest groups to date.
